This view is available only in the full edition of InstallShield Express.

The Support Files view allows you to add files that you want to be available on the target system only during the installation process. These files are added to a temporary support directory (SUPPORTDIR) and are removed from the target system after installation is complete.

Add Support Files

To add a support file to your setup project, do the following:

1. Right-click anywhere in the upper pane of the Support Files view and select Add from the context menu. A Select Files explorer dialog appears.
2. Navigate to the file that you want to add to your support directory and click Select. You can select multiple files at one time by holding down the Ctrl button while selecting files.

Sort Files

You can sort the files in this view by clicking the column heading of the column you want to sort by.
